Subaru regains consciousness in the graveyard with Emilia resting nearby. He resolves to protect not only Emilia but also everyone in the Sanctuary and Roswaal's mansion from looming dangers. Roswaal explicitly states he will force Subaru to repeat time if necessary to achieve his objectives. Driven by curiosity about Roswaal's true motivations and other unresolved questions, Subaru decides to seek out Echidna once more to find answers.
