Subaru emerges from the graveyard into an environment consumed by deep black shadows. The sudden appearance of the Witch of Envy causes darkness to swallow everything. Garfiel rushes in to save him, prompting Subaru to seek an escape route. However, the Witch of Envy pursues them relentlessly. Subaru decides to offer himself as bait to stall her, allowing Garfiel to intercept and attack. Despite this strategy, Subaru remains helpless against the Witch of Envy. The darkness continues to engulf their surroundings as the threat persists. The situation remains dire with no immediate resolution in sight for the trapped characters.
