Following his death at the hands of Elsa within Roswaal’s mansion, Subaru finds himself revived in the graveyard at the precise moment after completing the trial involving his past. Mirroring his initial return, he wakes Emilia and embraces her to provide comfort before rejoining Ryuzu and the group. Subaru informs them that he successfully passed the trial independently and proposes taking on the remaining stages of the trial in Emilia’s stead. However, Garfiel strongly opposes this suggestion, creating conflict regarding the next steps.
