Subaru, Beatrice, and Emilia combine powers to trap the Great Rabbit, with Beatrice sealing mabeasts via Al Shamac to save the Sanctuary. Beatrice and Roswaal visit Echidna’s grave, where he discloses he is the original Roswaal using soul transcription into ancestors. Outside, Emilia mistakenly believes she is pregnant after kissing Subaru. The group punishes Roswaal before negotiating, noting his utility. He reveals an oath curse on his chest prevents betrayal without death. After Emilia extracts an apology, Subaru is formally knighted in Emilia’s service.
