Itsuki encounters a lone girl in a park and provides her with food and a business card. She visits the Astral residence to request a basilisk eye, offering a valuable antique in exchange. The group travels to the basilisk’s lair, where the creature traps Lapis and Itsuki, overpowering Mikan’s protective charm. Itsuki reveals his Glamsight, allowing Astral to defeat the beast. Itsuki collapses from magical pollution, and Nekoyashiki purifies him just in time. Lapis later visits Itsuki, but her argument with Mikan is halted by Honami, who discloses Lapis is a homunculus familiar. Lapis activates the basilisk eye, destroying the room. Nekoyashiki deduces that Lapis serves Judaix Tholoide, a founder of Astral.
