Howard announces Gate Battle terms and takes Rio’s group to an island town for relaxation. Mint searches for Rio and meets an elder who recalls Rio visiting with Rina and Risa in her youth. Rio visits her former vacation home, nearly finding Rina before realizing Mint is lost. Rina saves Mint from a bear using her Roll Ruler. Howard attempts to reveal Cartia’s deception to Rina, but she claims the lie strengthened her. On the night of the 15-game poker match, Joker replaces Elvis as dealer. Rina wins the first two rounds with her Roll Ruler, while Rio hints at a hidden strategy.
