Upon waking, Lan learns from Dr. Hikari about the SynchroChip, which enables CrossFusion. He inadvertently brings the device to a NetCity museum exhibition. A mysterious UFO descends upon the area, capturing NetNavis. MegaMan and Roll jack-in to investigate, discovering that SavageMan is behind the attacks. Lan officially becomes a NetSaver during these events.
