During a field trip to a water works factory, Lan encounters BubbleMan, a Darkloid NetNavi. BubbleMan intends to flood every toilet in DenTech City. Lan attempts to use CrossFusion to stop the threat, but the fusion becomes unstable due to constant bickering between Lan and MegaMan. The pair must cease their arguments and cooperate effectively to successfully defeat BubbleMan and prevent the city-wide flooding.
