Lan is hired to investigate the cause of city lights burning out and destroying themselves. During this assignment, Maylu discovers that Lan is a NetSaver. Lan encounters Darkloid FlashMan in combat but is interrupted by Maylu, who insists on helping. However, Roll’s clumsy fighting style damages MegaMan, forcing Dr. Hikari to perform repairs. FlashMan attacks again, prompting Maylu to rush out to defeat him and correct her previous mistake. Ultimately, FlashMan is defeated when MegaMan and Roll fuse their souls together to create RollSoul.
