Dr. Hikari finishes constructing the PET II for Lan, a device that amplifies CrossFusion abilities, though the installation remains incomplete. Dark ProtoMan infiltrates the Sci-Labs to destroy the unit while MegaMan is inside. Anetta takes the PET and is pursued by Dark ProtoMan, with Chaud following closely to rescue her. Chaud and Anetta collaborate to capture Dark ProtoMan, but NovaMan appears to finish the job. The installation in the PET II is finally completed. Lan arrives and uses the PET II to easily delete NovaMan.
