Ep. 8: Anzu and Riho’s Mock Date Leads to Unexpected Romantic Research
Anzu meets Arisa, Tsukasa’s sister, who worries about his living situation. Arisa clarifies that Tsukasa lives alone due to their father but approves of Anzu’s influence. She convinces Tsukasa to stay with Anzu indefinitely. Meanwhile, Riri feels disappointed that Anzu lacks a boyfriend. Seeking romantic research, Riri bribes Anzu for a mock date and transforms into a boy named Riho. At the cinema, Tsukasa sees them holding hands, but Riho claims to be Anzu’s cousin. Riho picks a film that fails to inspire romance, causing girls to cry and boys to sleep. He attempts to antagonize Hijiri by posing as a rival, but Anzu drags him away. Riho decides he has gathered enough data for another scenario, and Anzu vows to defeat it. Riho kisses Anzu on the cheek to fluster her, only to reveal he intended to traumatize Junta, who was standing behind them.
