Crown Thunder utilizes an old pirate vessel to attack Echo Ridge, prompting Mega Man and Lyra Note to intervene. They identify the ship as the source of his strength and destroy it to defeat him. Meanwhile, Luna becomes upset after believing Mega Man and Lyra Note are in a romantic relationship, leading to visible anger at school. Her friends attempt to lift her spirits by taking her to a Sonia Sky concert. During this time, the FM-ian Ophiuchus exploits Luna's emotional distress and offers her the power to capture Mega Man.
