After gathering intelligence in Tetsujin Town, Bisco and Milo proceed northward through the snow-covered Shimobuki Prefecture. During their journey, they discover Tirol, who is on the verge of freezing to death. With Tirol joining them, the group continues their trek toward Konakidani, a region rumored to be the location of the Rust Eater.
