Milo and Bisco travel to Touhoku seeking the legendary Rust-Eater mushroom. They reunite with their friend, the giant crab Actagawa. Milo struggles with training to ride the crab but succeeds in communicating with it through kindness. That night, they attempt to rest at the Nikkou War Memorial. There, they encounter a jellyfish girl they previously met in Imihama. The journey continues as they navigate these unexpected encounters while pursuing their goal. The reunion with Actagawa marks a significant step in Milo's development, allowing him to connect with the creature despite initial difficulties in mastering the riding techniques required for their quest.
