The Sakura Dormitory group stages a play featuring Nanami as the heroine to create special memories. During the finale, Sorata feels frustrated by the audience's hesitation until Mashiro, Misaki, and the crowd shout their support. Sorata thanks Mashiro, but they are soon missing. A classmate confesses to Nanami, who rejects him. At the airport, Sorata hugs Mashiro, only to realize she was escorting Rita, who tricked him. Rita kisses Ryuunosuke on the cheek before departing. On the plane, Mashiro expresses discomfort over the hug and questions Sorata about whether her feelings constitute love.
