On presentation day, Sorata’s game design is deemed too difficult for funding, but he earns a chance to collaborate with judge Fujisawa Kazuki for the next round. During dinner, Mashiro reveals her jealousy and loneliness, prompting Sorata to express gratitude for a previous drawing. Later, Nanami asks Sorata to help practice a script sent by Jin, causing him nervousness over romantic lines. Nanami reflects on her feelings for Sorata, while Mashiro discusses her anxiety with Ayano, who provides romance manga. Two days before Valentine's Day, Yuuko arrives at Sakurasou to prepare for entrance exams. She eventually whispers to Sorata, urging him to choose between Nanami and Mashiro and reminding him of his father's advice.
