Ep. 1: Makoto's crush on Kotonoha leads to Sekai's unexpected intervention

During the freshmen orientation, Ito Makoto meets Katsura Kotonoha and instantly develops a romantic interest in her. They subsequently share the same morning train commute, yet Makoto remains passive, pretending to be occupied by staring at his cell phone's standby screen. Believing that purchasing love charms would be a futile waste of resources, he struggles to make a move. However, his situation changes when his classmate Saionji Sekai observes the content on Makoto's phone. Recognizing the situation, Sekai decides to intervene and assist Makoto in his pursuit of Kotonoha, altering the course of his romantic endeavors through this unexpected help.
