1EP 1Azure and Crimson, a Fateful Encounter!
Apr 2, 2009During the Sengoku Period, Takeda Shingen dispatches Sanada Yukimura to ambush Uesugi Kenshin. Instead, Yukimura meets Date Masamune, the One-eyed Dragon of Oshu, who also targets Kenshin. Their intense clash ends when Sarutobi Sasuke intervenes, causing both warriors to retreat to their camps. The following day, as Shingen moves to attack Imagawa Yoshimoto, Yukimura encounters Masamune again on the battlefield, where he continues to pursue him. This sequence establishes a rivalry between the two commanders amidst the broader conflict for power and unification in feudal Japan.
2EP 2Masamune and Yukimura clash while Shingen defeats Ujimasa and Nobunaga eliminates Yoshimoto.
Apr 9, 2009Masamune intends to defeat Yoshimoto, but Yukimura intervenes, leading to a battle between them to determine who captures the target. Simultaneously, Shingen attacks Houjou Ujimasa after Ujimasa assaults Shingen's forces. Ujimasa deploys Fuuma Kotarou to stall Shingen, but Kotarou is defeated, allowing Shingen to easily defeat Ujimasa. During this time, Masamune and Yukimura discover that Yoshimoto has fled the battlefield using two decoys. All three individuals are subsequently attacked by operatives serving the "Demon King of Owari," Oda Nobunaga. Masamune and Yukimura then witness Nobunaga shoot the real Yoshimoto.
3EP 3Maeda Keiji Visits Kenshin and Masamune to Propose an Alliance Against Nobunaga
Apr 16, 2009A wandering man named Maeda Keiji meets Kenshin to discuss forming an alliance against Nobunaga. He then visits Masamune, who is displeased by the encounter. Keiji attempts to persuade Masamune to join the alliance, arguing that it will bring peace and happiness to Japan. Masamune refuses the proposal, insisting he will defeat Nobunaga alone. Consequently, the two engage in combat. Masamune defeats Keiji despite the latter's arguments for unity. Undeterred by the loss, Masamune remains determined to stop Nobunaga and prepares to confront the Oda clan directly.
4EP 4Azai Nagamasa faces a tragic choice between loyalty to his brother-in-law Nobunaga and protecting the Asakura clan from destruction.
Apr 23, 2009Azai Nagamasa learns of Nobunaga’s misdeeds and decides to stop him from attacking the Asakura clan. Kasuga visits Shingen to support Keiji’s cause against the Oda clan, but Sasuke reports failing to secure an alliance with the Azai and Tokugawa clans for the Takeda. Nobunaga offers Nagamasa a cruel ultimatum: destroy the Asakura himself or face his wife Oichi’s execution. Akechi Mitsuhide warns Nagamasa that Masamune plans a solo attack on Nobunaga, which Nagamasa must prevent. Meanwhile, the Takeda and Uesugi clans form an alliance and prepare for their own assault on the Oda clan.
5EP 5The fierce confrontation at Nagashino and Shitaragahara involving Takeda and Tokugawa forces
Apr 30, 2009Shingen attempts to recruit Tokugawa Ieyasu, who refuses and allies with Nobunaga. The Tokugawa clan faces difficulties against the Takeda and Uesugi until Ieyasu deploys Honda Tadakatsu, a giant mechanized robot armed with a large drill, to shift the battle's momentum. Yukimura, Sasuke, and Shingen combine their efforts to defeat Tadakatsu. In a separate engagement, Nagamasa intercepts Masamune to prevent him from reaching Nobunaga. Kenshin discovers Keiji's strategy to unite other leaders against Nobunaga alone. When Nobunaga departs, Mitsuhide permits Oichi to visit Nagamasa on the battlefield. This meeting serves as a diversion, allowing Mitsuhide to shoot Nagamasa at point-blank range.
6EP 6Masamune retreats after Oichi's betrayal and Tadakatsu's death by Nobunaga's wife
May 7, 2009Dying in Oichi's arms, Nagamasa forgives her deception, as Mitsuhide exposes her failed mission to seduce the Azai clan. Furious at this revelation, Masamune attacks Mitsuhide despite Katakura Kojuurou's advice, but is forced to retreat when Ieyasu withdraws due to Nobunaga's betrayal. Nobunaga's wife, Nouhime, kills Tadakatsu with an underground bomb. Following Tadakatsu's death, Ieyasu joins the alliance against Nobunaga. Masamune retreats to avoid annihilation by Mitsuhide's firearms. Yukimura invites Masamune to stay at Kai instead of returning to Oshu. Kojuurou treats Masamune's injuries from the gun volley, surprised by the severity of his wounds sustained during the conflict.
7EP 7A villainous threat emerges as two warriors clash under the moonlight.
May 14, 2009Sasuke warns Kasuga before investigating an explosion, while Kojuurou confesses regrets about Masamune to Yukimura. Sasuke reports that Hisahide Matsunaga has taken Masamune's retainers hostage, demanding the six dragon claw swords and Takeda's shieldless armor for their release. Kojuurou suggests abandoning the hostages, but Masamune insists on saving them. Kojuurou challenges the recovering Masamune to a duel, knowing he is unfit for combat, and swiftly knocks him out by striking his wounds. Respecting Masamune's wish, Kojuurou decides to rescue the retainers. Takeda questions Yukimura's decision to let Kojuurou go alone, correcting his perspective and ordering him to assist in the rescue mission to retrieve the armor.
8EP 8Kojuro faces the Miyoshi Death Squad's poison incense and Hisahide's forces at Todaiji.
May 21, 2009Kojuurou reaches Todaiji but is hindered by the Miyoshi Death Squad using slow-acting poison incense. Despite his weakened state, he relies on skill to survive. At nearby temple ruins, Hisahide expresses shock that Kojuurou brought Masamune's six swords to save retainers. Kojuurou offers the swords and challenges Hisahide to a duel, which Hisahide declines. Yukimura arrives with shieldless armor as a distraction for Sasuke to free the captives, but Hisahide destroys the ruins first. In Kai, Masamune wakes to see Takeda, who speculates Hisahide works for Oda. Back at the ruins, Hisahide sends his bomb squad against the enraged Kojuurou. Yukimura fails to stop them. After Sasuke clears the incense, Kojuurou lands a fatal blow on Hisahide, who then commits suicide. Kojuurou discovers the retainers survived the earlier explosion.
9EP 9The Tiger of Kai Dies at Midaigawa!
May 28, 2009Oda advances north from Kyushu, killing Yoshihiro Shimazu. Masamune and Kojuurou reach equal standing, while Takeda gifts Yukimura a new spear. Sasuke reports Tokugawa was assassinated by Mitsuhide, signaling approaching Oda vassals. Uesugi and Kasuga encounter a female shinobi claiming to serve Sasuke. She shoots at Uesugi, revealing herself as Nouhime sent to kill him. Kasuga tries to shield him, but Uesugi moves her aside and takes the bullets. Meanwhile, a thunderstorm causes a river overflow in Kai. Takeda attempts to repair the dike when Mitsuhide arrives to assassinate him. Mitsuhide destroys the dike, flooding the area. He then jabs Takeda with his scythe, causing him to fall into the river.
10EP 10Yukimura Beyond Recovery?! The Date Army's Tearful Disbandment!
Jun 4, 2009Masamune and Kojuurou fail to capture Mitsuhide, who escapes. Kasuga, blaming herself for Uesugi’s injury, decides to assassinate Oda alone. Sasuke reluctantly gives her a wooden whistle for emergencies. Meanwhile, a distressed Yukimura washes ashore, unable to save Takeda. In Owari, Mitsuhide proposes a strategy to Oda to eliminate remaining factions. Masamune and Kojuurou discuss their next move against Oda with Sasuke after Takeda is settled. Kojuurou analyzes Mitsuhide’s tactics, leading Masamune to plan a direct attack. Shocked and confused, Yukimura watches as Masamune disbands his army. Kojūrō explains this decision, helping Yukimura find his reason to fight. Yukimura and Masamune then ride out to confront the enemy at Honnoji.
11EP 11Mitsuhide's Betrayal! Honnoji Temple Goes Up in Flames!
Jun 11, 2009Mitsuhide’s plan to betray Oda backfires as his forces are defeated. Meanwhile, Kojuurou unites fallen factions to aid Yukimura and Masamune against Oda. Upon reaching Honnoji, the duo discovers a trap set by Nōhime, leaving Oda absent. Inside, Mitsuhide attacks and ignites the temple. At Azuchi Castle, Nōhime forces Oichi to kill the captured Kasuga, but Kasuga escapes with Oichi. Kasuga uses a whistle-hang glider to evade ninjas. Ranmaru Mori arrives to support Mitsuhide but is swiftly defeated by Masamune. Kojuurou urges the pair to proceed to Azuchi Castle, volunteering to face Mitsuhide instead. Oichi pleads with Nōhime to see her brother, but Nōhime refuses and shoots at Oichi.
12EP 12Death Struggle for Tomorrow at Azuchi Castle Keep
Jun 18, 2009Kojuurou defeats Mitsuhide in a burning temple, saving Ranmaru. Meanwhile, Oichi neutralizes Nouhime with dark powers before being executed by Oda for her hesitation. Yukimura and Masamune reach Azuchi Castle, aided by naval support from Motonari Mōri and Motochika Chousokabe, who breach the walls. Tadakatsu attempts to challenge Oda alone but is killed. Masamune suffers severe injuries from Oda’s assault. Yukimura and Masamune ultimately defeat Oda with their full power, destroying the castle. Following this decisive victory, the various clans resume their independent conflicts against one another.
