Ep. 11: Keiji Draws His Sword in Heartbreak as Toyotomi's Forces Rush for Supremacy
Kojuurou rejects Hanbei and serves Hideyoshi, prompting Kotarou to eliminate castle guards while Sasuke and Kasuga infiltrate. They learn Hideyoshi plans to attack Uesugi and Satsuma. Kotarou attacks Sasuke to retrieve a sword for Hisahide. Kasuga flies to Uesugi, while Kojuurou frees prisoners and leads a revolt. He reunites with Masamune, who leaves Motochika to pursue Hideyoshi to Odawara. In Satsuma, Motonari kills spy Akagawa and destroys Hanbei’s scouts with a cannon, witnessed by Yukimura. Hideyoshi marches to Odawara, trampling Keiji’s sword despite Keiji’s attempt to stop him. Masamune acknowledges Keiji’s peace views before departing. Yukimura travels to Satsuma, telling Sasuke he requires no Takeda backup from Kai. Hanbei learns of his scouts' destruction as Masamune confronts Hideyoshi in Odawara.
