Ep. 12: The Final Clash of Azure and Crimson Amidst the Calm After the Fierce Struggle
Masamune and Hideyoshi engage in combat while Yukimura attacks Motonari and Kojuurou faces Hanbei. In Echigo, Uesugi defeats Hideyoshi’s forces and meets Mitsunari Ishida as Kasuga returns. Meanwhile, in Satsuma, Shimazu and Musashi defeat troops led by Ieyasu Tokugawa and Tadakatsu Honda. Yukimura stops Motonari from destroying a village and shatters the Nichirin mirror, injuring Motonari. Kojuurou uses Masamune’s broken sword against Hanbei, who dies after falling from a cliff. Hideyoshi crushes Masamune under a castle but is ultimately defeated by Masamune wielding Kojuurou’s sword. In a trance, Keiji meets Hideyoshi, who returns his pendant, acknowledging his failing legacy. With Hideyoshi’s defeat, his armies disband, and everyone returns to their normal lives.
