Ep. 25: Maximilian Seizes the Holy Lance While Squad 7 Storms the Marmotah
Gallian and Imperial forces clash in Randgriz as Maximilian acquires the Holy Lance of the Valkyrur, a massive Ragnite weapon hidden within Randgriz Palace, and installs it as the Marmotah’s main cannon. After destroying a hill to demonstrate its power, he demands Gallian surrender. Jaegar challenges Maximilian’s lust for power, prompting the latter to reveal he executed Karl and threatens Jaegar with similar consequences for disloyalty. When the Marmotah attempts to fire on the city, Alicia, who survived the Ghirlandio explosion, intervenes. Severely weakened from her prior battle with Selvaria, Alicia faints after blocking a second shot and is captured by the Imperials. Jaegar declares he will no longer serve Maximilian and is shot. Welkin, Faldio, and Squad 7 storm the Marmotah to rescue Alicia.
