During a medicine delivery to Dr. Newman's clinic, Red saves Jackson from a narcotic overdose linked to a new painkiller but chooses not to investigate. After a swimming picnic with Rit, Al reveals he unlocked the Weapon Master Blessing. Berserk members of Albert’s Party attack Rit until Albert kills them. Danan seeks Red in Zoltan and meets Bui, who also searches for him. Red recalls childhood memories of promising to become a knight to adventure with Ruti. Dr. Newman arrives with an injured Al. Meanwhile, The Hero's Party resupplies at an oasis in the Bloodsand Desert, where Tisse learns of Ruti's lingering misery due to her brother's absence.
