EP 1Former Hero's Party Member Red Lives a Quiet Life in Zoltan
Oct 6, 2021Gideon, exiled from the Hero's Party for weak combat skills, becomes Red, an apothecary in Zoltan. He hides his identity as the Hero's brother. When his friend Tanta faces blindness, Red enters a restricted forest to find medicine. Adventurer Albert burns the forest to hunt an Owlbear. Red secretly kills the beast to protect his secret. Albert claims the kill for the reward. Tanta recovers. Carpenter Gonz builds Red a house and shop. Red finally achieves the peaceful life he sought after leaving his past behind.
EP 2Rit, Princess of Loggervia, Arrives at Red's Store in Zoltan
Oct 13, 2021Rit, short for Rizlet and Princess of the Duchy of Loggervia, enters Red’s store in Zoltan to escape a family power struggle. Red reluctantly allows her to live with him. Meanwhile, the Hero's Party gains Tisse Garland, who possesses the Divine Blessing of The Assassin. The party has affiliated with Loggervia, where Rit previously served as a brash B-Rank adventurer who believed the Duchy did not need the Hero. Flashbacks reveal Rit’s past raid on the Demon Lord's Army food stores, which failed when she discovered her master, the Duke, was dead and impersonated by Shisandan. Red saved her from death while Ruti killed Shisandan. Traumatized by this loss, Rit fell into depression until Gideon restored her will to fight the Demon Lord's Army. Gideon was later banished and settled in Zoltan as Red.
EP 3Rit and Red secure approval for painkillers and sell out cookies while Danan pursues Red.
Oct 20, 2021After shopping for a bed for Rit, she and Red successfully have a painkiller Red concocted approved for sale. It is angrily refused at first by Dan, the one in charge of approvals, because of a similar medicine with addictive properties he approved months earlier, and he was blamed for its impact. Rit uses her connections to get their painkiller approved. To accompany this new product, the two then make and sell a health supplement/cold and fever remedy in the form of a cookie (to eliminate the bitter taste which repulses most customers) which sells out in hours. Meanwhile, Danan becomes sick of Ares, as their mission to locate the Demon Lord's weapon, with help from the Desert People, has failed. Ares is furious at the suggestion they only failed due to his poor leadership and Red’s absence. Knowing that Ares really only banished Red out of envy, Danan, with the approval of Ruti, leaves to find Red.
EP 4Rit buys mead while Red defends himself against Albert and revitalizes Zeff's sauna.
Oct 27, 2021Rit, Zoltan's top adventurer, shocks many by living with Red. She leaves to buy mead, prompting Albert to accuse Red of killing the Owl-Bear. Red denies the charge, causing Albert to attack, but Rit returns to stop him. She is surprised by Red's speed when he catches her dropped mead. Later, Red and Rit visit Zeff's sauna, which lacks customers due to a new noble-built bath-house. Zeff fears bankruptcy, but Nao scolds his pessimism. Red proposes using medicinal herbs to attract patrons. Rit reveals the mead reminds her of a Loggervia wedding tradition. Meanwhile, Theodora questions Tisse about joining the failing Hero's Party, noting the internal conflicts that were absent under Gideon.
EP 5Rit and Red Reject Guild Bribes Amidst Flashbacks of the Hero Party's Past
Nov 3, 2021The Adventurer's Guild tries to bribe Rit to return to adventuring, but she refuses. Red also rejects a bribe from the Thieves' Guild and gives Rit an amber bracelet, hinting that his next gift will contain a gemstone. Fearing Rit might view them as enemies, the Thieves' Guild sends Dia to blackmail her by threatening to reveal her location to her royal family. This plan fails because Rit does not care about her royal status. Rit recalls the time before the Hero Party vanquished the Demon Lord's Army. She and the Party needed to cross the Bewitching Woods, a dangerous magical area, with the help of Red’s friend Yarandrala, a High Elf immune to the woods' effects. Rit thought Yarandrala liked Red, but was surprised when Yarandrala told her to pursue Red herself. Seeing how close Red was to Ruti, Rit decided not to come between them and left the Party to rebuild her homeland. Ruti misses Red terribly and remembers that shortly after Red left, she became aware that Ares did something to make him leave, causing her to beat Ares almost to death.
EP 6Red Saves Poisoned Victim While Al Unlocks Blessing and Party Attacks Rit
Nov 10, 2021During a medicine delivery to Dr. Newman's clinic, Red saves Jackson from a narcotic overdose linked to a new painkiller but chooses not to investigate. After a swimming picnic with Rit, Al reveals he unlocked the Weapon Master Blessing. Berserk members of Albert’s Party attack Rit until Albert kills them. Danan seeks Red in Zoltan and meets Bui, who also searches for him. Red recalls childhood memories of promising to become a knight to adventure with Ruti. Dr. Newman arrives with an injured Al. Meanwhile, The Hero's Party resupplies at an oasis in the Bloodsand Desert, where Tisse learns of Ruti's lingering misery due to her brother's absence.
EP 7Al recovers from attack while protests erupt in Southmarsh over Ademi's disappearance.
Nov 17, 2021Al reveals Ademi attacked his family with an axe, though his parents survive thanks to Red and Dr. Newman. Ademi’s disappearance sparks protests in Southmarsh, with residents accusing townguard leader Moen of sheltering him. Red and Rit secure a meeting with Moen and Tanta after Tanta’s detention. Moen apologizes for Tanta’s treatment but denies his son’s potential guilt, asking Rit to find the drug source. A stranger gives Al a red-bladed shotel with a Locate spell. Rit captures a dealer but faces an ambush by disguised minor demons, saved by Danan, who respects Gideon’s quiet life. Nov 24, 2021While Rit confronts Dio and the red shotel senders, Bighawk’s henchmen abduct Al. Al discovers Bighawk distributes the Devil's Blessing narcotic in Zoltan and attempts to force Al to execute Ademi. Al frees Ademi instead, and Red rescues them. Red fights Albert and Bighawk’s gang, learning Bighawk is possessed by the contract demon Belial. Albert attacks Red to join The Hero's Party, but Red severs his swordhand. The townguard arrests Albert and Bighawk, and Al and Ademi expose the plot to end the crisis. Days later, Red and Rit’s bond strengthens, and Al joins an adventuring party. Bui visits Bighawk in prison, revealing himself as Shisandan, the Demon Lord's general supposedly killed by Ruti. He scolds Belial for revealing the Devil's Blessing's potential. Belial contracts Albert, breaks them out of jail to join The Hero's Party, and Ruti draws her sword against them.
EP 9Rit and Red market hand warmers while Ruti seeks Devil's Blessing in Zoltan
Dec 1, 2021Rit and Red begin selling hand warmers for winter. Bui applies for a B-ranked adventurer position in Zoltan. Ruti receives Devil's Blessing from Belial and, desiring more, leaves the Hero's Party with Tisse to travel to Zoltan by airship under the guise of simple adventurers. Tisse encounters Red at a roadside food stall, and they identify each other as experienced adventurers, a fact Tisse reports to Ruti. Meanwhile, Red and Rit visit a fairy dragon hamlet to treat Undine, an archfay suffering from a magical drain in Zoltan caused by a powerful entity. Ruti and Tisse break Godwin, the creator of Devil's Blessing, from prison. To treat his injuries, they visit a local apothecary, leading to an unexpected reunion with her brother.
EP 10Ruti Discovers Her Brother's Role and Ares Tracks Her Down
Dec 8, 2021Ruti abandons her Hero status to stay with Red, but falls ill and seeks elven ruins to create the Demon's Blessing. Bui is exposed as the cause of magic drainage using an enchanted crystal heart. Ruti struggles to remain inconspicuous in Zoltan, where she reveals to Rit and Tisse that her brother provides essential emotional support, as her Hero Blessing prevents her from feeling joy. Tisse vows to free her from this forced destiny. Meanwhile, Ares and Theodora utilize Albert to locate Ruti. Theodora instructs Albert that individuals are not bound by their Blessings to determine their own fate, emphasizing personal agency over predetermined roles.

Dec 15, 2021Tisse informs Red and Rit that Ruti’s immunities delay the Devil’s Blessing, but she will eventually succumb if she continues using it to suppress her Hero Blessing. As the pair prepare to visit the elven ruins to question Godwin, they encounter a duplicate of Danan. Meanwhile, Ares destroys Red’s shop out of jealousy. Red reaches the ruins, which are actually an abandoned base of an ancient advanced civilization, and meets Ruti and Godwin. He encourages Ruti to live freely rather than follow her Blessing’s dictates. Ruti discovers a new, unnamed Blessing has appeared in her. Ares attacks, but Ruti rejects him. Bui, an Asura demon, then approaches Ares, revealing an artifact from the first Hero that could help him win Ruti back. The real Danan reunites with Theodora and Albert as they rush to catch up with Red and Rit.
EP 12Heroes confront Ares as Shisandan reveals himself and Ruti is compelled by a Sacred Blade.
Dec 22, 2021The heroes locate Ares, where Bui is attacked by Danan and reveals his identity as Shisandan. They find an artifact chamber containing five sword blades, siblings to the Sacred Sword wielded by Ruti, who are remnants from the era of the first Hero. Red’s group arrives, and the enemies attempt to kill Red while using the swords to force Ruti back into her role as the Hero. Theodora attacks Ruti to steer her toward the Hero’s path, but Rit protests, arguing that the Hero’s Blessing does not make one the sole savior and that the people’s will defines a hero. Red, Ruti, Rit, Tisse, and Godwin fight back. Red kills Ares, but Shisandan tricks Ruti into touching a blade, triggering her Blessing’s compulsions. She attacks Red, but Tisse intercepts the blow, sustaining critical wounds.
EP 13Red disarms Ruti while Theodora heals Tisse, leading to a new life in Zoltan.
Dec 29, 2021Red successfully disarms Ruti, ending the Sacred Blade's influence but nullifying her Blessing. Theodora heals Tisse’s fatal wound as an act of repentance for her rigid faith in the Hero's Blessing. The group realizes that being a Hero depends on personal choices rather than divine gifts. Ruti and Tisse move to Zoltan, where Ruti receives a new Blessing that suppresses her previous Hero status. Red fully accepts Rit as his wife, and his life in Zoltan returns to normal, with Ruti intervening only during emergencies. Meanwhile, Yarandrala meets Godwin in the wilderness, who informs her of Red and Ruti's location, prompting her to rejoin the group in Zoltan.
