Maria supervises Basara and Mio as they establish a master-servant magical contract, though Mio incorrectly assigns the roles. When Mio declines to kiss Basara’s hand, she succumbs to an aphrodisiac curse, leading Basara to alleviate her symptoms by touching her sensitive areas. This incident results in Maria receiving reprimands from Mio. Later, Basara transfers to Mio’s school, where he is reunited with his childhood friend, Yuki Nonaka. Yuki embraces Basara publicly in front of Mio and their classmates, causing a stir when Mio reveals she lives with Basara. Despite facing resentment from the student body regarding his relationships with both girls, Basara befriends Yahiro Takagawa. After classes end, Yuki privately warns Basara to avoid involvement with Mio.
