Honda reveals Seiichi will finish storyboards tomorrow, leaving five weeks for the final episode. Midori sends Aoi diesel train research, and they discuss Misa's work struggles. Aoi assists sound engineer Toshiyasu Kawano with effects, gaining his interest. She advises Misa to define her goals before resigning. Misa submits her resignation to Tateishi to pursue story-based animation. Seiichi completes the storyboards, pleasing Honda. Aoi asks Yuuichirou about CG companies for Misa. Honda announces his plan to become a pâtissier, and Segawa praises Ema's cuts. Production begins on the final episode, but Aoi worries about Seiichi's excessive drinking after the after-recording party.
