Tetsuya travels to Chiba seeking financial opportunities and encounters a young boy at a parlor on the Boshu peninsula. He discovers the boy's father is Boshu, a former rival once considered the best in Shinjuku alongside Tetsuya. Observing Boshu's transformation, Tetsuya struggles to express his emotions but realizes verbal communication is unnecessary between them. Boshu issues a challenge for a final career-defining battle, prompting Tetsuya to prepare for a confrontation with his former mentor. During the match, Tetsuya regains his composure by recalling a lesson Boshu previously taught him. This memory allows him to escape Boshu's trap, concluding their last encounter together.
