Ep. 4: Viral Supernova News Sparks Police Investigation and Hospital Recovery

News of Yuki’s supernova creation spreads rapidly, prompting Takuya and Yuki to undergo surgery for their injuries. Geek confronts Yumiko for answers, leading Eiji to suggest hiding at his home to avoid police contact in the Lock-Down district. Yuki and Kikyou are brought to Eiji’s large residence, where they are questioned by officers Ryouko and Shunpei. Meanwhile, Ryouko prepares rice for colleagues Yuuji and Shunpei, while Yuki suffers a mental breakdown regarding Souma. Yumiko recalls her time with Takuya in the police force before being interrupted by Suzuna. Magician Yoshiaki meets private detective Keigo, who seeks information about his missing brother from the Light of Hope Academy For Disabled Children. Ryouko intervenes, asking Keigo to investigate Takuya. Takuya awakens in the hospital, updated by Yumiko. Yuki discusses the Lost incident with Ryouko, revealing details about her father and Souma. Ryouko and Shunpei visit Lacuna Chemical factory, interviewing PR representative Tsuki about a recent break-in, but lack a warrant. Tsuki later speaks with superior Taiyou about Yuki’s unique ability to use powers without an artifact. At Police HQ, Ryouko and Shunpei are reprimanded for investigating the Lost incident, but Ryouko remains determined. Geek and Yuki take Takuya from the hospital to Eiji’s house. Keigo discovers bombshell information about the Lost Incident in a restricted area but is betrayed and stabbed by his partner Shunpei, who belongs to The Agency. Yumiko discusses Souma with Yuki at Eiji’s house.
