Mihoshi and club members attend the Autumn Stargazing Conference at Nogishiro High School, surprised by the large club size. After sunset, president Ayumi Ōmi explains the stargazing rules: groups observe until moonset, then count stars to measure sky brightness. Saku assists Ayumi with patrol, encountering Hime and second-year Musa, who overreacted to his presence. Once the moon sets, the group reconvenes on the roof. Ayumi reveals to Saku that the astronomy club actually has only nine members, with most participants from other clubs. Takeyasu Roma narrates the autumn sky myth, which the group enjoys. Later, Ayumi confronts Roma, reminding him they were once members of the same astronomy club at Goshima Science Museum.
