Livius’s childhood friend, Luna from the ocean kingdom, arrives and torments Nike by surpassing her in every endeavor. Consumed by jealousy upon seeing Livius happy with Nike, Luna issues a deadly challenge: a game of chicken racing toward an aqueduct where failure to stop means death. Nike accepts the race, demonstrating her unconditional love for Livius despite his flaws. Realizing she cannot compete with Nike’s genuine bond, Luna loses control and falls. Nike summons the wind to save her rival. The conflict resolves peacefully as Luna departs on good terms, and Nike finally addresses Livius by his first name.
