Ep. 49: Asura Wakes: To the End of the World?

Injured by Lord Death, Asura erects a barrier and enters deep slumber. Maka, Black Star, and Kid enter to stop his madness, but Asura has grown immense after devouring Arachne's soul. Kid believes their attacks are ineffective as the barrier weakens. Soul pushes too far and is consumed by the Little Demon's black blood, breaking the duel arts resonance link. Maka ventures back to rescue him while Black Star and Kid defend her. After traversing a long corridor, she encounters a figure claiming to be Soul who seals the door behind her. Outside, Crona recovers, Justin persuades Giriko to retreat, and the remaining allies wait anxiously for the trio's success.
