Black Star enters the soul of the Enchanted Sword and accepts the burdens of those slain by it. He defeats Mifune by forging his own path rather than becoming a warrior or demon. Black Star spares Mifune and invites him to teach at the DWMA. They depart to find Angela. Free, Eruka, and Mizune flee Baba Yaga's Castle after sensing Medusa's demise. Eibon, seeking to repent for aiding Arachne, uses a soul-key to activate Brew. This magic tool grants the user's desires. Lord Death uses Brew to transform Death City into a giant robot to fight for others. The mobile castle battles the city, but Death City breaches it, extracts Asura, and consumes him, seemingly trapping him inside.
