Ep. 12: Tsugumi Resonates with Meme to Defeat Shaula and Restore Order

Shaula empowers Traitors in Death City and commands Meme to eliminate Tsugumi and Anya. Anya attempts to restrain Meme, allowing Tsugumi to overcome her fears and administer an antidote through a kiss. Although the cure seems ineffective initially, Tsugumi triggers Meme’s memories of their shared past, enabling a Soul Resonance that breaks Shaula’s mind control. Tsugumi then formally accepts both Anya and Meme as partners. Using Meme’s residual connection to locate Shaula, the trio executes a three-way Soul Resonance, transforming Tsugumi into a winged halberd. This combined power defeats Shaula and restores the infected students. Later, after Anya handles royal duties and Meme receives medical care, both return to the DWMA to find Tsugumi studying diligently.
