Ep. 2: Claude travels to Arlia and Salva, meeting Regis and Yuki while pursuing Rena.

After saving Rena, Claude visits her village, Arlia, where he learns about the Warrior of Light from church windows. Rena brings him home, but an awkward moment leads to a nap. Claude dreams his father refuses to help, telling him he must save himself. He wakes to find the elder, Regis, attacking him to verify his identity. Regis confirms Claude is the Warrior of Light and explains the disasters on Expel. Claude insists he is not the chosen one and wants to go home. Regis allows him to stay overnight and directs him to Salva, providing a sword for protection. The next day in Salva, Claude saves Yuki from thugs working for Alen, the mayor's son and Rena's childhood crush. Alen had announced his marriage to Rena that day. Claude returns to Arlia but encounters Alen, who has kidnapped Rena and is taking her to his mansion. Rena's crescent moon hairpiece falls near Claude, who takes it and sets out to rescue her.
