Rena and Claude visit the king in Cross, who confirms that battles against monsters on the continent of El continue after the Sorcery Globe landed. The king grants them a passport for the journey. Outside, they encounter Celine Jules, who effortlessly defeats her attackers. Claude intervenes, leading Celine to appoint him as her bodyguard. She reveals she is a treasure hunter seeking the treasure of Cross Cave. Despite the cave being in the wrong direction for their trip to El, she persuades them to detour. Inside, they become lost due to a false map provided by Celine but eventually find a chamber containing an old book in an unknown language. Upon exiting, Celine decides to join their group.
