Ep. 5: Claude and Rena encounter Dias in Mars while protecting children from bandits seeking a secret book.

Rena, Claude, and Celine locate Mars, a town of Heraldic sorcerers, after Celine spots a bog creature. They rescue children and their teacher from bandits, meeting Rena’s old friend Dias, who trained in Arlia. The group learns the bandits seek the Book of Seals, forbidden from leaving town. The elder and teacher ask Claude and Dias to protect Mars; both agree, though Dias claims he is sufficient. Rena follows Dias, urging him to help Claude, whom she believes is the Warrior of Light traveling to El for the Sorcery Globe. Claude later apologizes to Dias in the forest but is defeated by his left hand. When Claude attacks back, Dias uses his right hand and Kuuhazan to win, stating Claude is too weak to protect Rena. Rena heals Claude in Mars. The town is then attacked. Dias is lured away by bandits but faces another enemy. While he fights, the elder orders the book moved to safety. However, Celine and Rena reveal the elder was attacked and the current man is an imposter.
