Hostiles surround the group and take Maho hostage, demanding the device. Another faction intervenes, destroying the laptop and leaving Maho distressed over the loss of Kurisu’s legacy. Following this confrontation, Maho and Alexis depart for America, concluding Rintaro’s interactions with Amadeus. The events mark the end of his involvement with the AI system, as the group disperses after the failed attempt to preserve the digital remnant through the stolen hardware.
