Months pass without any news of Kagari, prompting Daru and Suzuha to seek Maho's assistance in constructing a time leap machine. Concurrently, Fubuki is hospitalized again, where Rintaro encounters Leskinen. At the lab, Suzuha is attacked by a brainwashed Kagari, who has arrived to retrieve an Oopa toy Suzuha had taken. This incident reveals that Kagari was already under mental control before traveling to the past. Consequently, Suzuha and Daru approach Maho once more for help. Encouraged by Amadeus Kurisu, Maho decides to return to Japan to aid them in building the necessary time machine.
