Tsugumi goes on a secret date, causing Ibari to suffer a heart attack while trying to stop her. Hibari and Kousaku follow Tsugumi to a film set where she meets actor Takakura Yujiro. Ibari opposes the union, viewing movie stars as show-offs. Yujiro becomes a lead actor after impressing a director but is bound by a contract forbidding marriage. Kousaku and Hibari discover Yujiro abandoned Tsugumi due to this restriction. Sabu, who loves Tsugumi, invades the set to kill Yujiro. Hibari knocks Yujiro out, impressing the director. Finally, Hibari scares Tsugumi with a fake spider, causing her to fall into Sabu's arms.
