Meanwhile, a politician requests Ibari demolish a children's park for an entertainment center. Ibari refuses, citing precious memories, and reveals his wife named all four children—Tsugumi, Tsubame, Hibari, and Suzume—after birds in the park. Kousaku persuades a reluctant Hibari to help Ibari, leading them to sneak into the meeting. Ibari nearly burns the album, but Hibari stops him, explaining his late wife gave it to preserve youthful memories. Hibari then starts an album for Kousaku, startling Ibari, while Kousaku privately mourns his mother.
