Zangief and a Shadowlaw driver defeat Ryu on the beach, knocking him unconscious and loading him into their truck. Guile and Nash arrive shortly after, but the pair escapes before they can intervene. Guile and Nash search a castle for Ken, who was previously held there by Bison’s physicians, but find the location empty. Meanwhile, Ryu awakens at Shadowlaw headquarters and confronts Bison. Bison easily overpowers Ryu and taunts him into using the Hadouken. As Ryu attempts to fire the attack, Bison uses his Psycho Power to destabilize it, causing the Hadouken to explode. The resulting blast, combined with Bison’s energy, knocks Ryu unconscious once again.
