General Trevor Maloney orchestrates a military mutiny, ordering the dissolution of the Strike Witches and deploying a mech named Warlock, which Yoshika identifies from Neuroi visions. While most Witches plan to return home, Minna, Barkhorn, and Erica remain to investigate Maloney’s intentions. The Warlock later assaults a Neuroi nest, turns black, and attacks indiscriminately, including its creators. During the chaos aboard the Akagi, which is under attack, Mio unveils a hidden Striker Unit. Yoshika volunteers to pilot this new equipment to counter the threat. This sequence highlights the internal conflict within the military and the sudden betrayal by the Warlock, forcing the remaining Witches to adapt quickly to survive the escalating danger and uncover the truth behind the mutiny.
