Yoshika notices Commander Minna-Dietlinde Wilcke forbidding hangar personnel from speaking with the Strike Witches. The Akagi visits to thank Yoshika for her assistance during a Neuroi attack, but Minna stops a crew member from handing her a letter. The next day, the witches fight a dividing Neuroi, during which Minna identifies a weakness in Mio's shield. After the battle, Minna inspects the site and finds a memento from her deceased boyfriend. As the Akagi departs for its next mission, Yoshika sees them off and Minna sings a farewell song. Later that night, Minna points a gun at Mio.
