Ep. 12: Ledo confronts Kugel as Pinion and Lukkage prepare for rebellion
Kugel’s fleet readies an assault on the Gargantia, prompting Ledo to unsuccessfully attempt dissuasion. Meanwhile, Lukkage approaches Pinion to plan a fleet rebellion. Disturbed by the crew discarding the sick and fearing for Bebel, Ledo resolves to face Kugel alone. Pinion arms Chamber, while Lukkage and Flange prepare for the uprising. Ledo sends Melty to deliver a message to the Gargantia, but she collapses from exhaustion and is saved by Amy. Upon learning of the attack, the Gargantia crew debates abandoning the fleet. Amy urges intervention, leading Oldham to direct Ridget to use Fairlock’s special key. The rebellion erupts as Ledo battles Kugel with Pinion’s aid, while Lukkage’s pirates strike the soldiers. Ledo pins Kugel and opens the cockpit, discovering the commander has been dead for a long time.
