Haru reflects on his father's comment regarding his loneliness while oversleeping, leading Shima to inform him that Aki and he are visiting the Sagami residence. Ren displays increased consideration for Haru, but their interaction is interrupted by Natsuo, prompting Ren to flee in accordance with his rule to avoid him. Haru pursues Ren to discuss their relationship, where Ren confesses his inability to tolerate others touching Haru and admits his love. Haru responds by declaring his devotion, and the two share a moment of peace. Haru later expresses regret over sleeping soundly on the death anniversary without alcohol, finally understanding his father's words. The following morning, Haru asks Ren out, and they visit the graves of Haru's parents. A post-credits scene features Natsuo and Haru.
