Ep. 13: Kyon investigates Ryoko's disappearance and learns about Haruhi's past and Itsuki's theory

Kyon assists Haruhi in searching for Ryoko, who vanished without warning. After the search yields no results, Haruhi shares her history, explaining her transformation from an ordinary student to her current self. Itsuki later introduces Kyon to the anthropic principle, suggesting that Kyon’s presence allowed Haruhi to manifest extraterrestrial beings. He then transports Kyon to a sealed reality, where they witness espers destroying a blue giant entity unconsciously created by Haruhi. Upon returning home, Itsuki instructs Kyon to take care of Haruhi.
