Ep. 7: Tamahiko tutors children, writes to father, and shares a kiss with Yuzu on New Year's Eve.

Tamahiko and Yuzuki tutor Ryo’s siblings and local children, prompting Ryo to take Yuzu away for cooking duties. During this time, Ryo acknowledges Yuzu’s past efforts to separate her from Tamahiko. Motivated by the tutoring, Tamahiko writes a note to his father requesting permission to return to school. On New Year's Eve, Yuzu reveals she is legally old enough to marry, but Tamahiko states he wishes to mature personally before accepting her as a wife, though he impulsively kisses her romantically. Later, Ryo’s younger brother Ryotaro announces his move to Tokyo, but subsequently disappears. Tamahiko and Yuzu search for him, with Yuzu finding the boy and Tamahiko alleviating his fear of leaving his family. The next morning, Ryotaro happily boards a train for Tokyo.
