Tales of the Abyss

Luke, a noble from Kimlasca-Lavaldear, has spent years confined in his father's home after being kidnapped by the Malkuth Empire when he was young. He no longer remembers his life before the kidnapping and hears a mysterious voice only he can perceive. During a training session with his mentor, Van Grants, a woman named Tear enters the mansion intending to kill Van. In the ensuing conflict, Luke is taken far from his home with Tear. Now free for the first time, Luke discovers that the outside world will challenge everything he believes about himself.
