Lag returns to Sylvette’s home, where his spirit amber glows upon touching Gauche’s Shindanjuu. Both witness flashbacks revealing Gauche’s determination to work dangerous deliveries to cure Sylvette’s disability. The final memory shows Gauche before traveling to the capital and meeting Reverse. Lag promises to retrieve Gauche and return him to Sylvette. Sylvette entrusts Lag with Gauche’s Shindanjuu according to her brother’s wishes. Later, Largo evaluates Lag’s performance at the Beehive and promotes him to a full Letter Bee. Lag declares his ambition is not merely to serve as a Bee, but to become Head Bee, ensuring no letter delivery is impossible.
