Ep. 8: Lag visits Sylvette Suede to inquire about Gauche after learning of his work-related breakdown.

Zazie informs Lag that Gauche suffered a breakdown from work stress. Connor drives Lag to Sylvette Suede’s home, where she mistakes him for a debt collector. Lag sees Gauche’s Shindanjuu there but learns he never returned home after being fired from Akatsuki. Sylvette recalls Aria delivering the termination notice and assumes Gauche is dead, ordering Lag to leave. On the way back, Lag asks Niche what she would do if he lost his heart. She vows to do whatever it takes to bring him back and never forget him. Moved by her loyalty, Lag rushes back to Sylvette’s house, promising to find Gauche and restore her hope.
