Ep. 3: Gabriel encounters Miruru while Yuusuke avoids chaos and Noelle seeks angelhood.
Gabriel meets Miruru, who visits the human world for entertainment. Yuusuke leaves home due to chaos and spots Natsumi with a male companion at the park. Noelle asks her family how to become an angel for Yuusuke. Her grandmother explains angels must abandon desires, instructing Noelle to stop squeezing Yuusuke. At school, Noelle wears a Lucca-made suit that repels contact with Yuusuke. After an incident leaves Noelle unconscious, Yuusuke takes her to the nurse. He later finds a letter from Natsumi inviting him to the pool. Yuusuke sneaks out but falls into a trap set by Miruru, who works for Dispel. Miruru summons Kappa to create a whirlpool intended to kill Yuusuke, hoping Noelle will abandon her angel goals. Noelle arrives to rescue Yuusuke, diving into the whirlpool while wearing the repelling suit. Her desperation causes her halo to expand, breaking the suit. Yuusuke performs CPR on Noelle and carries her home.
